🛠️ About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Mechanic to join our team at JTP Machinery. You’ll be servicing and repairing tractors and agricultural machinery directly on-farm, supporting local farmers with reliable, hands-on expertise. From urgent breakdowns to routine maintenance, you’ll be the trusted face of our business in the field.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Travel to client farms for tractor servicing and repairs
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown support
- Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Provide practical advice to clients on machinery care
🧰 What You Bring
- Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of tractors, implements, hydraulics, and engines
- Ability to work independently in a mobile service role
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s license
